Omnitek BitU Visc Automatic Viscometry System for Oil and Petroleum Testing Equipment

The Automatic High-Temperature Kinematic Viscometer is designed to determine the kinematic viscosity of liquid asphalts, road oils, distillation residues, and other highly viscous petroleum samples at elevated temperatures. It is suitable for fuels, base oils, formulated oils, vacuum residues, additives, crude oils, waxes, heavy fuel oils, polymers, and asphalt materials.

The fully automatic system uses a vacuum-based sample introduction method and Ubbelohde-based viscometer tubes with thermal sensors for measuring transparent and opaque fluids. It incorporates precise temperature control, automatic sample preheating, dual-solvent cleaning, and drying functions to support accurate measurements and minimize cross-contamination.

The instrument is available in two configurations: a single-tube model and a dual-tube model, both using one thermostatic bath. A color touchscreen enables standalone operation and storage of up to 10,000 measurement results. Advanced PC software supports customizable test methods, data analysis, reporting, and communication with laboratory information management systems.
