+91 98967 93832Bernoulli’s principle describes the relationship between the flow velocity and pressure of a fluid. An increase in flow velocity results in a reduction in static pressure, while a decrease in velocity causes an increase in static pressure. The total pressure of the flowing fluid remains constant, demonstrating the principle of conservation of energy in fluid flow.
This experimental unit is designed to demonstrate Bernoulli’s principle by determining pressure variations within a Venturi nozzle. It includes a pipe section with a transparent Venturi nozzle and an axially movable Pitot tube for measuring total pressure.
The position of the Pitot tube can be clearly observed through the transparent front panel of the Venturi nozzle. Pressure measuring points are provided along the nozzle to determine static pressures, which are displayed using six tube manometers. The total pressure measured by the Pitot tube is displayed on an additional single-tube manometer.
The experimental unit can be positioned easily and securely on a suitable fluid mechanics work surface. Water can be supplied and the flow rate measured through a compatible base module or alternatively through a laboratory water supply.
Manufactured by Atico Export with attention to applicable quality, safety and functional requirements for technical education applications.
