+91 98967 93832Refrigeration systems and heat pumps can have the same basic design, with their application determining whether they are used for cooling or heating. The system allows both cooling and heating operations to be studied through different practical operating modes.
Different operating modes can be selected using solenoid valves. The refrigeration circuit includes a compressor, heat exchanger with fan, two fan-assisted evaporators for refrigeration and freezing stages, and thermostatic expansion valves. The two evaporators can be connected either in parallel or in series. For series operation, a capillary tube serves as the expansion element for the refrigeration-stage evaporator.
The refrigeration circuit is connected to a glycol-water circuit through a coaxial coil heat exchanger. The heat exchanger can be operated as either an evaporator or condenser using solenoid valves, allowing the glycol-water mixture in the tank to be heated or cooled. During cooling-only operation, the fan-assisted heat exchanger dissipates heat as an air-cooled condenser and can also be switched to operate as an evaporator.
Measured values such as temperature, pressure, flow rate and compressor power consumption are displayed digitally and can be transmitted directly to a PC for analysis. The included software supports convenient analysis and graphical representation of the process. Refrigerant condition data can also be used to accurately calculate the refrigerant mass flow rate.
