Osborne Reynolds Teaching Equipment

The Osborn Reynolds experimental trainer is designed to demonstrate the flow characteristics of liquids and provide a clear visualization of flow lines. The system is suitable for vertical representation of flow behavior and operates independently with its own water reservoir, pump and supporting table.

The trainer includes a dye injection system with a 0.5-liter dye container for introducing colored liquid into the test section. A needle valve at the inlet of the measurement section and a throttle valve at the outlet allow precise adjustment of the flow rate.

All pipes used in the trainer are transparent and have a 20 mm diameter, allowing the flow pattern to be observed clearly during experiments. The unit is mounted on a wheeled table for easy relocation and includes a water reservoir and a connection outlet for directing the water from the test section to a sink or collection chamber.
