+91 98967 93832The Pressure Aging Vessel (PAV) is designed to simulate the long-term oxidative aging of asphalt binders using pressurized air and elevated temperatures. It evaluates changes in asphalt binder properties during in-service aging and is intended for use with residue obtained from the Rolling Thin Film Oven Test (RTFOT).
The system consists of an ASME-code stainless steel pressure vessel housed in a stainless steel cabinet with integrated band heaters. It includes a precision sample holder for testing ten specimens simultaneously, a pressure controller, a temperature controller, pressure and temperature measurement devices, a temperature recorder, and a specimen loading and unloading tool.
The programmable control system guides the operator through preheating, specimen loading, pressurization, aging, and test completion. Process temperature and pressure data are recorded at regular intervals, while minimum and maximum temperatures and out-of-range time are monitored for test documentation.
Manufactured by Atico Export for reliable asphalt binder aging evaluation and quality control in pavement materials laboratories.
