Rapid Flash Tester Open Cup for Oil and Petroleum Testing Equipment

The Rapid Open-Cup Sustained Burning Tester is designed to verify the sustained burning characteristics of small liquid samples. It is suitable for evaluating the flammability of mixtures containing flammable and non-flammable liquids or liquids with significantly different flash points.

The instrument provides rapid flash/no-flash test results in approximately one minute for suitable samples below 100°C using a 2 mL sample. It features semi-automatic operation and a digital temperature display. The operator selects the test temperature and introduces a 2 mL or 4 mL sample into the test cup. Once the instrument stabilizes at the selected temperature, the test flame is applied and the result is observed.
