Saybolt Viscosity Bath for Oil and Petroleum Testing Equipment

The Saybolt Viscometer Constant Temperature Bath is designed to determine the time required for 60 mL of a liquid sample to flow through a calibrated orifice under controlled temperature conditions. Saybolt Universal Seconds (SUS) are used for lubricants, insulating oils, and lighter fuel grades, while Saybolt Furol Seconds (SFS) are used for heavier oils and bituminous materials.

The bath features microprocessor-based PID temperature control to maintain temperature within specified tolerances. Dual digital displays allow convenient setting and monitoring of the bath temperature, with selectable Celsius or Fahrenheit readings. The system accommodates four viscometer tubes and four 60 mL receiving flasks. Its insulated stainless steel bath, removable chemical-resistant top plate, built-in overflow pipe, drain valve, and cooling coil support convenient operation and maintenance.
