Semi Automatic Ductility Testing Machine for Oil and Petroleum Testing Equipment

The Semi-Automatic Ductility Testing Machine is designed to determine the ductility and elastic recovery of bituminous materials. Ductility is measured by determining the distance a briquette specimen elongates before breaking when its ends are pulled apart at a specified speed and temperature.

For elastic recovery testing, the briquette specimen is stretched to a specified distance under controlled conditions and then cut. The distance required for the two halves to reconnect is used to determine the elastic recovery of the sample.

The machine features a 6-inch LCD touchscreen control panel that allows users to select pre-programmed ductility, recovery, and custom test methods. During testing, the distance travelled by the specimen is displayed, and the distance at breakage can be recorded directly through the touchscreen. A motor-jogging function helps position and lock the sample carriage after loading.
