Biogas Plant Teaching Equipment

Biogas Plant is designed for practical teaching and laboratory investigation of anaerobic digestion and biogas production using a two-stage process. The system can be operated continuously or discontinuously and provides a complete platform for studying substrate conversion, reactor operation, biogas generation and post-fermentation processes.

The plant consists of two stirred stainless-steel tank reactors with level sensors, a separate supply unit with substrate tank and feed pump, and a post-fermentation unit. Temperature and pH in the reactors can be controlled using heating and dosing systems. Acid and caustic are supplied through metering pumps for controlled pH adjustment.

The biogas produced is dried using silica gel and analyzed for methane content, carbon dioxide content, flow rate, humidity and temperature. An integrated PLC with touch screen provides plant control, while the integrated router allows operation through an end device and screen mirroring on up to 5 end devices. Measured values can be stored internally and accessed through WLAN or LAN connection.
