+91 98967 93832In metrology, calibration is the process of identifying deviations in a measuring instrument by comparing it with a reference instrument or an accepted standard value. The identified deviation can then be considered during the subsequent use of the measuring instrument and adjusted when required.
This equipment is designed as an introduction to the fundamentals of checking and calibrating pressure gauges. A piston manometer is connected to a Bourdon tube pressure gauge through a pipe. The piston manometer produces accurately defined pressures in liquids or gases and is suitable for practical pressure gauge calibration.
A defined force is generated by loading the piston with weights. The ratio between the applied force and piston cross-sectional area produces a defined test pressure. Hydraulic oil transfers the applied force through the system. As the pressure increases, the force acts against the spring mechanism of the Bourdon tube pressure gauge. The generated test pressure can be read directly from the transparent dial.
The transparent dial provides a clear view of the spring mechanism and demonstrates the working principle of the Bourdon tube pressure gauge. Loading the piston with calibrated weights produces accurate and reproducible calibration pressures for checking and calibrating the pressure gauge.
Manufactured by Atico Export with a focus on precision, durability and consistent performance for technical education and practical training applications.
