Efficiency in Heating Technology Teaching Equipment

This training equipment is designed for the practical study of energy-efficient heating technology and the fundamentals of heating system operation. It features a complete closed heating circuit with circulating pumps, an electrical heater, a convector for heat dissipation, various pipe sections, fittings and safety devices.

The system allows students to investigate pressure losses across important pipe fittings and compare the operating characteristics of conventional and differential pressure-controlled circulating pumps. Seven differential pressure sensors are provided for pressure loss measurements.

Control response and energy flow can be analyzed using temperature sensors, a flow rate sensor and an effective power sensor. Measured values can be transferred directly to a PC via Ethernet for data acquisition and analysis. The circulating pumps, heater and convector fan can also be controlled through the PC.

The integrated temperature control system supports two-point and PID control, allowing practical investigation of temperature regulation, hysteresis and PID parameters.
