Geothermal Energy with Two Well System

Geothermal Energy with Two-Well System is designed for the demonstration and practical investigation of a two-well system for utilizing geothermal energy. The system features a temperature-controlled groundwater circuit for studying heat transfer and groundwater flow.

Height-adjustable overflows allow adjustment of the groundwater flow, while the pump in the production well provides adjustable flow rates. Temperature and flow rate measurements enable determination of the transmitted heat capacity.

A multi-tube manometer is provided for visualizing groundwater levels. The working medium can be supplied through a laboratory water supply or water chiller. The system also supports calculation of transmitted heat capacity and simulation of the energy balance of a heat pump.

PC-based software enables data acquisition via USB for recording and analyzing experimental results.
