+91 98967 93832Thermal radiation is a non-material-bound form of energy transfer through electromagnetic waves within a specific wavelength range. Any body with a temperature above absolute zero emits thermal radiation, which includes infrared radiation, visible light and ultraviolet radiation.
This Laws of Radiant Heat Transfer and Exchange Teaching Equipment is designed for practical investigation of thermal and light radiation. The system includes a thermal radiator and a light source, with thermal radiation detected using a thermopile and light radiation measured using a lux meter. Various optical elements can be positioned between the emitter and detector to study radiation behavior.
A range of optical elements, including apertures, absorption plates, reflection plates and color filters, enables investigation of reflection, absorption and transmission at different wavelengths and temperatures. The radiant output of the emitters can be adjusted. The thermal radiator, light source and measuring instruments can be rotated to study the influence of distance and angle of incidence on radiation intensity.
The equipment supports practical verification of fundamental radiation laws, including Lambert’s law, the Stefan-Boltzmann law and Kirchhoff’s laws. Measured values are displayed digitally and can be transferred to a PC through a data acquisition system for further analysis.
Manufactured by Atico Export with a focus on precision, durability and consistent performance for technical education and practical training applications.
