+91 98967 93832A wind tunnel is a classic experimental system for aerodynamic flow experiments. The model being studied remains stationary while the air is set in motion to generate the desired flow around the model. This open wind tunnel is designed for demonstrating and measuring the aerodynamic properties of various models used in aerodynamics and fluid mechanics.
Air is drawn in from the surrounding environment and accelerated through the inlet and nozzle. It then flows around a model, such as an aerofoil, within the measuring section. The air is subsequently decelerated in the diffuser and discharged back into the environment by an axial fan.
The carefully designed nozzle contour and flow straightener provide a uniform velocity distribution with low turbulence in the measuring section. The square measuring section allows clear observation of the airflow around test models. The built-in variable-speed axial fan provides energy-efficient operation and air velocities of up to 28 m/s.
The trainer is equipped with an electronic two-component force sensor for measuring lift and drag forces, which are displayed digitally. Air velocity in the measuring section is displayed using an inclined tube manometer. Additional accessories can be used for experiments such as lift measurement, pressure distribution, boundary layer analysis and visualization of streamlines.
Manufactured by Atico Export with a focus on precision, durability and consistent performance for technical education and practical training applications.
