Recirculating Air Conditioning Unit Teaching Equipment

Recirculating Air Conditioning Unit is designed as a comprehensive teaching system for studying air conditioning processes with both outdoor air and recirculating air operation. The system provides practical demonstration of heating, cooling, humidification, dehumidification, air circulation and reheat processes.

The unit consists of a transparent air duct with a fan, air cooler, humidifier, motorized flaps, air heater and sensors. A climatic chamber with wet (latent) and dry (sensible) heat sources is provided as the cooling load. Adjustable recirculation allows air leaving the chamber to be returned to the conditioning duct.

The transparent duct provides full visibility of the air conditioning process and components. Temperature and relative humidity sensors are provided at different stages of the process, together with an air flow sensor. The system is suitable for academic analysis of thermodynamic and air conditioning principles.

The system includes a process schematic with signal lamps and is prepared for different automation solutions through data cable connections. Computer-based operation, real-time data logging, manual data recording and USB data download can be supported for practical analysis and experimentation.
