+91 98967 93832In a steam engine, thermodynamic energy in the form of steam pressure is converted into mechanical energy. This mechanical energy can be used for electricity generation or to drive machinery and vehicles. A steam power plant generally consists of a heat source for steam generation, a turbine or steam engine with a generator, and a cooling system for condensing the exhaust steam.
This training equipment contains the main components of a steam power plant, including a gas-fired steam boiler, single-cylinder piston steam engine with generator, water-cooled condenser, feed water tank and feed water pump. The boiler generates steam and supplies it to the piston steam engine. A piston and crank mechanism convert the energy of the steam into mechanical energy, while a DC generator converts the mechanical power into electrical energy.
Four light bulbs are provided as electrical consumers. The exhaust steam is condensed in a water-cooled condenser. Safety devices monitor the boiler temperature and include a safety valve for safe operation. Sensors measure temperature, pressure and flow rate at relevant points, while generator voltage and current are measured and displayed.
Manufactured by Atico Export with a focus on precision, durability and consistent performance for technical education and practical training applications.
