Smallholder Solar Powered Irrigation Surface Pump Set

Smallholder Solar-Powered Irrigation Surface Pump Set is a pico-sized, surface-based pumping system designed for smallholder irrigation applications. The system is powered by solar energy and provides an efficient solution for pumping water at low heads and lifting water up to 10 m.

The pump system can deliver up to 12,000 L of water per day at low heads under an average solar radiation of 5 kWh/m². It is supplied with an 80–100 Wp, 12 V solar panel for solar-powered operation.

Air vessels are provided on either side of the pump to provide balanced and even water flow. An efficient DC motor with an integrated controller and low-light operating option enables operation during cloudy conditions.

The system also incorporates a USB port for charging mobile phones and powering other small electronic devices. A 1¼" inlet and outlet, suction hose and installation accessories are included for practical installation.
