Steam Generator Teaching Equipment

Steam Generator is designed for practical teaching and demonstration of steam generation using a gas-powered heating system. The unit can be connected to a steam turbine for operating and studying a complete steam power plant.

The system features a once-through boiler with a gas-powered burner and superheater. The steam generator produces steam at an operating pressure of up to 8 bar, with a maximum pressure of 10 bar and a maximum steam temperature of 250 °C.

A condenser is provided as a thick-walled glass cylinder with a water-cooled tube coil and water-jet pump for air extraction. The system incorporates a closed-circuit feed-water supply and sensors for measuring temperature, pressure and flow rate.

Safety facilities are provided in accordance with the pressure equipment requirements for safe operation. Exhaust gas analysis can be carried out using an exhaust gas analyzer, while PC-based software supports data acquisition via USB.
